By motion, approve Tentative Agreement relative to wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of <br />employment for employees represented by the RCPSA, for the period of August 26, 2024 through <br />August 29, 2027; <br />2. Adopt a resolution amending the Classification and Salary and Wage Plan for classifications <br />represented by the Redwood City Police Supervisors Association; and <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving an appropriation amendment to the FY 2024-25 General Fund budget <br />to increase expenditures in the amount of $236,600 for increased salary and benefit costs related to <br />the Redwood City Police Supervisors Association Successor Memorandum of Understanding that <br />begins in FY 2024-25. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />Due to the dynamic nature of providing services to the community and as service needs and City <br />operations evolve over time, City staff review the organization to recommend changes in support of the <br />City’s Strategic Plan and to improve operating efficiency and service delivery. <br />The City Council has adopted a strategic initiative related to government operations, and one of the goals <br />of that initiative is: <br />6.H. - Page 1 of 72 <br />343
