ATTY/RESO.0012/CC RESO AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY AND WAGE PLAN (RCPSA) <br />REV: 02-26-25 MI <br />Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. _____ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY AND WAGE <br />PLAN FOR CLASSIFICATIONS REPRESENTED BY REDWOOD CITY <br />POLICE SUPERVISORS’ ASSOCIATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and the Redwood City Police Supervisors Association <br />(RCPSA) have reached agreement on a Successor Memorandum of Understanding for <br />August 26, 2024 – August 29, 2027; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties agreed to amend the classification and salary and wage <br />plan by granting for all classifications represented by the RCPSA a 3% cost-of-living <br />adjustment effective August 26, 2024, a 3% cost-of-living adjustment effective August 25, <br />2025, and a 3% cost-of-living adjustment effective August 24, 2026; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff is recommending new classification salary ranges for Police <br />Lieutenant – Advanced – 15-YR and Police Sergeant – Advanced – 15-YR be established <br />effective March 24, 2025. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City’s Classification and Salary and Wage plan is hereby amended for <br />classifications represented by RCPSA as set forth in Exhibits A-1, A-2, A-3, and B. <br /> <br />2.
