Page 3 of 13 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />Effective the first full pay period following October 1, 2024: 3% cost of living adjustment. <br />Effective the first full pay period following City Council approval of a successor MOU in 2025, the following <br />classifications will receive equity adjustments in the following amounts: <br />• Management Analyst I/II: 1.55% <br />• Housing Management Analyst I/II: 1.55% <br />• Communications and Marketing Multimedia Analyst: 1.55% <br />• Human Resources Technician: 1.55% <br />• Parks, Recreation and Community Services Manager: 1.97% <br />• Recreation Supervisor: 1.97% <br />• Human Services Manager: 1.97% <br />• Landscape Architect: 1.97% <br />• Landscape Supervisor: 1.97% <br />Following City Council approval of a successor MOU in 2025, the City will conduct a total <br />compensation survey in accordance with the parameters of the City’s compensation philosophy and <br />will reflect the Redwood City COLA and pension cost share, which are effective the first full pay period <br />following City Council approval of a successor MOU in 2025. The survey will evaluate the following job <br />classifications: <br />• Administrative Assistant <br />• Body Worn Camera Manager <br />• Library Division Manager <br />• Parking and Transportation Demand Manager <br />• Senior Accountant <br />• Senior Civil Engineer <br />• Senior Planner <br />• Utilities Field Supervisor <br />Upon completion of the survey, the benchmark job classifications and agreed-upon associated <br />classifications that are below total compensation market median will receive an equity <br />adjustment to bring them to market, not to exceed one percent (1%), to be effective the first full <br />pay period following completion of the meet and confer process. <br />Effective the first full pay period following October 1, 2025, there will be a three percent (3%) cost <br />of living increase for all classifications represented by the bargaining unit. <br />Effective the first full pay period following October 1, 2026, there will be a three percent (3%) cost <br />of living increase for all classifications represented by the bargaining unit. <br />EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONS TO RETIREMENT SYSTEM <br />Currently, employees in the CalPERS Tier 1 pension plan (2.7% @ 55 formula), are required to contribute <br />the full member contribution of 8% of pensionable compensation to CalPERS, plus an additional 7% of <br />pensionable compensation toward the City’s pension contribution to CalPERS in accordance with <br />California Government Code Section 20516(f), for a total of fifteen percent (15%) of pensionable <br />compensation. <br />• Effective the first full pay period following City Council approval of a successor MOU in 2025, the <br />additional pension cost share of 7% for pension Tier 1 will be reduced to 5.25%. <br />• Effective the first full pay period following October 1, 2025, the additional pension cost share of <br />5.25% for pension Tier 1 will be reduced to 4%. <br />6.I. - Page 3 of 119 <br />417
