CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />SUMMARY OF COMPENSATION AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT <br />FOR THE CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEE GROUP <br /> <br />Page 3 of 34 <br />I. GENERAL PROVISIONS <br />A. Confidential Job Classifications: The provisions of this Summary of Compensation <br />and Terms of Employment for the Confidential Employee Group “Summary”) <br />describe and authorize compensation and terms of employment for confidential, <br />unrepresented employees in the following job classifications for the period from <br />March 10, 2025 to September 30, 2027: <br /> <br />Business Manager <br />Human Resources Analyst I/II <br />Management Analyst II (Confidential) <br />Principal Analyst – Administrative Services <br />Principal Analyst – Workers Compensation <br />Senior Human Resources Analyst <br /> <br />B. This group of employees for the purpose of identification shall be titled the <br />Confidential Employee Group. <br /> <br />C. The provisions of this Summary shall continue and remain in full force and effect <br />until such time as any modifications or amendments are approved by the City <br />Council. This Summary does not create any contractual right, or any express or <br />implied contract of employment. The City of Redwood City retains the full <br />discretion to modify this Summary at any time in accordance with law. <br /> <br />D. Pro-ration for Part-Time Employees <br />Salaries, City contributions to benefits, and leave accruals will be pro-rated for <br />regular, part-time employees covered by this Summary. <br /> <br />II. COMPENSATION <br />A. Pay Period: Employees shall be paid bi-weekly on Fridays. <br /> <br />B. Direct Deposit: All employees are required to participate in a mandatory direct <br />deposit program. <br /> <br />C. Salary Increases: <br />Following City Council approval of this Summary, the City will conduct a total <br />compensation survey in accordance with the parameters of the City’s <br />compensation philosophy and will reflect the Redwood City COLA and pension <br />cost share effective the first full pay period following City Council approval of this <br />Summary, including the cost of living increases and reductions in pension cost <br />6.I. - Page 67 of 119 <br />481
