Funds for the
purchase of the spray ground equipment are available in the CDBG Fund; no additional funding allocation
is required.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA
Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably
foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment.
The Hoover Park renovation project as a whole meets the CEQA exemption criteria as set forth in CEQA
Guidelines Section 15301 (Class 1. Existing Facilities) in that it consists of the repair, maintenance, and/or
minor alteration of existing public or private structures or facilities, involving negligible or no expansion
of the use beyond that existing.
PUBLIC NOTICE
Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72
hours prior to the meeting.
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council could deny City Manager the authority to negotiate and enter into the Purchase
Agreement with Waterplay Solutions Corporation.
6.K. - Page 3 of 4
555
