CONSENT CALENDAR - Continued <br /> 6.G. Tentative Agreement for a Successor Memorandum of Understanding <br /> (MOU) between City of Redwood City and the bargaining unit represented <br /> by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 521 (SEIU) <br />amendments to the City’s Classification and Wage and Salary Plan to update the <br />salary range for SEIU classifications, meet 2025 local minimum wage <br />requirement, and amend the job descriptions for Building Inspector and Permits <br />Technician, and Fiscal Year 2024-25 Budget Amendment due to increased salary <br />and benefit costs <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By motion, approve Tentative Agreement relative to wages, hours, and other terms <br />and conditions of employment for employees represented by SEIU Local 521, for the <br />period of February 1, 2025 through January 23, 2028; <br />2. Adopt a resolution amending the City’s Classification and Salary and Wage Plan to <br />update salary ranges for all classifications represented by SEIU, update the salary ranges <br />for certain classifications in compliance with the City’s Minimum Wage Ordinance, and <br />amend job descriptions for Building Inspector and Permits Technician; and <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving an appropriation amendment to the FY 2024-25 <br />general fund budget to increase expenditures in the amount of $767,000 for increased <br />salary and benefit costs related to SEIU Local 521 Successor Memorandum of <br />Understanding that begins in FY 2024-25.
