REV: 02-27-25 LF <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />Program Objectives, Scope of Services & Quantitative Goals <br />Program Year 2024/2025 <br />Subrecipient Information <br />Subrecipient Name:Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse <br />(CORA) <br />Address: 2211 Palm Avenue <br />City, State, ZIP: San Mateo, CA 94403-1814 <br />Project Name: Safe House (Emergency Shelter) <br />Program Objectives <br />Project will address Redwood City’s Consolidated Plan 2023-2027 <br />priorities and goals as follows: <br />Priority: Supporting Persons Experiencing Homelessness - Making <br />homelessness short, rare and nonreoccurring by supporting the work of <br />emergency shelters and funding other basic needs. <br />Goal 4 - Homeless Services: Provide high-quality, professional services <br />in all temporary shelters and comprehensive outreach services designed <br />to directly connect individuals to all appropriate housing and services. <br />Scope of Services <br />Description of Services to be Provided: <br />CORA's Safe Houses serve individuals (and their children) who are fleeing <br />domestic violence and need immediate, safe housing. Safe House staff use a <br />trauma-informed model of service, which means incorporating an understanding <br />of the impact of trauma into all aspects of service. A primary goal for the Safe <br />House program is to help clients build safety and self-sufficiency into their lives <br />so they are less likely to need emergency services. <br />Project Activities: <br />CORA’s Safe House program will provide Emergency Shelter to 18 Redwood <br />City residents seeking refuge from domestic violence or abuse. <br />Individuals and families in this program receive: <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.033/Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA) (Safe House) (Page 16 of 18)
