Second Resolution in support of Public Works Services Department's submission <br />of a CAL FIRE grant request in the amount of $51,934 for an Urban Forestry <br />Inventory. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt another resolution in support of the request by Public Works Services to CAL <br />FIRE for a $51,934 grant to perform an inventory of the City's publicly maintained <br />trees in the urban forest. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 14980 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR <br />FUNDING FOR THE URBAN FORESTRY GRANT PROGRAM ENTITLED, "AN URBAN <br />FOREST FOR EVERY CITY", AS PROVIDED THROUGH PROPOSITIONS 40 AND 84 <br /> <br />B. Maintenance Agreements and Public Service Easement Dedication for the newly <br />constructed Redwood Shores school at 225 Shearwater Parkway. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Stormwater <br />Treatment Measures Maintenance Agreement and a Landscape Maintenance <br />Agreement with the Belmont Redwood Shores School District. <br />2. By resolution, approve and authorize the City Manager to accept the dedication <br />of Public Service Easements from the Belmont Redwood Shores School <br />District. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 14981 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />ACCEPTING GRANT OF PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS FROM BELMONT <br />REDWOOD SHORES SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> <br />C. Sole source purchase of pumps for the Recycled Water Distribution Pump Station. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By resolution authorize the sole source purchase/assignment of as many as five <br />main pumps and motors from Flowserve, in an amount estimated not to exceed <br />$400,000 and suspend the requirements of Article VII, PURCHASING, Chapter 2 of <br />the Municipal Code governing competitive bidding, and approve $10,000 for <br />Flowserve to start the submittal process. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 14982 APPROVING THE SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE OF FIVE MAIN <br />PUMPS AND MOTORS FROM FLOWSERVE, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED <br />$400,000, AND SUSPENDING THE REQUIREMENTS OF ARTICLE VII, PURCHASING, <br />OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO COMPETITIVE BIDDING <br />FOR THIS PURCHASE, AUTHORIZING THE ASSIGNMENT OF THIS SOLE SOURCE <br />PURCHASE AGREEMENT TO THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER, AND APPROVING $10,000 <br />FOR FLOWSERVE TO START THE SUBMITTAL PROCESS <br /> <br />6.3 Section - Claims and Warrants <br /> <br />A.
