ATTY/RESO.0027/CC RESO WATER SUPPLY ASSESSMENT (920 SHASTA) REV: 04-22-25 VR Page 2 of 2 WHEREAS, the Public Works Services Department has prepared a Water Supply Assessment for the Residential Project and Commercial Project pursuant to the applicable Water Code provisions, including Water Code Section 10910 et seq. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. Section 2. The City Council has reviewed the Water Supply Assessment, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, with its data and analysis set forth therein, the documentation contained in the administrative record in support of the Water Supply Assessment, and other relevant records on file with the City. Based on such information, the City Council, exercising its independent judgment, hereby finds as follows: (a) The City’s existing and prospective water supplies and recycled water supplies and its water conservation measures comprise the City’s water supply for the projected demand of the Commercial Project and Residential Project; (b) A sufficient water supply is available for the Proposed Projects because the total projected water supplies, determined to be available for the Projects during normal, single dry, and multiple dry water years during a 20-year projection, will meet the projected water demand associated with the proposed Projects, in addition to existing and planned future uses, including agricultural and manufacturing uses; (c) All infrastructure necessary to deliver a water supply to the Commercial Project and Residential Project is in place, excepting any distribution facilities required to be constructed and financed by the Applicants; and (d) The Water Supply Assessment confirms the conclusions of the CEQA Consistency Checklist prepared for the combined Commercial and Residential Projects, which indicates that the City’s projected water supply is sufficient at this time to meet the proposed Commercial Project and Residential Project’s projected water demand, adhere to the Urban Water Management Plan, and have less than significant impacts to the City’s water supply and no new mitigation measures are required. Section 3. Pursuant to the requirements of Water Code Section 10910 et seq., the Council of the City of Redwood City hereby approves the Water Supply Assessment for the 920 Shasta Project. Section 4. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon adoption. * * *
