In 2022, <br />there were approximately 32,000 housing units and a 94% occupancy rate. Fifty-four percent of the <br />housing units are renter occupied. <br />In 2022, there were 2.35 times more White (Non-Hispanic) residents (32,000 people) in Redwood <br />City than any other race or ethnicity. There were 14,000 Other (Hispanic) and 14,000 Asian (Non- <br />Hispanic) residents, the second and third most common ethnic groups. <br />From 2021 to 2022, employment in Redwood City, CA declined at a rate of 2.62%, from 46 ,000 <br />employees to 45,000 employees.
