6
unit, six persons in a three-bedroom unit and eight persons in a four-bedroom unit.

When determining the comparable size of the replacement units under the State relocation
programs, the number of all household members is taken into consideration regardless of legal
presence status. The replacement units required for the current population include one two-
bedroom caretaker’s unit and one three-bedroom single family dwelling.

The existing homes are within the City of Redwood City within a densely populated mixed-use
area on a major thoroughfare with retail shopping, personal services, restaurants, medical facilities,
parks, schools, social services, proximity to employment opportunities and public transportation.

6. Preferred Area to Relocate
When the residential tenants are interviewed in the future, their preferred areas to relocate will
be identified.

B. STORAGE FACILITY TENANTS
As of the date of this Plan, all of the 135 storage units within the self-storage facility are
occupied. Storage unit tenants occupy a variety of unit sizes ranging from 5’x10’ – 10’x30’
with monthly rents ranging between $109 - $779.
The self-storage facility itself is owned by the Seller. The Seller received a Voluntary
Acquisition Letter from the Developer acknowledging there is no threat of eminent domain
related to the offer to acquire the Project site, and the transaction, if completed, will be
completely voluntary. Due to the voluntary nature of the acquisition, the owner-occupant is
not eligible for relocation assistance, although this does not affect the tenants’ eligibility for
assistance.
ATTY/RESO.0034/CC RESO APPROVING PROJECT (901 EL CAMINO REAL) - EXHIBIT C
REV: 04-22-25 VR
