City of <br /> Redwood City, et al., San Mateo Superior <br /> Court, Case No. 24-CIV- 07974 <br />Yvonne M. Selner v. City of Redwood City, et al., <br />San Mateo Superior Court, Case No. 23-CIV- <br />05778 <br />Francesca Fambrough, et al. v. City of Redwood <br />City, San Mateo County Superior Court Case No. <br />17CIV05387 <br /> <br />2. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br /> <br />Closed session regarding initiation of litigation pursuant to California Government <br />Code Section 54956.9(d)(4): 4 case(s) <br /> <br />City Attorney Veronica Ramirez reported the following action from Closed Session: <br /> <br />An agreement has been reached between Mr. Ed Stancil and the City relative to <br />Docktown Marina and the Docktown Plan. Mr. Stancil has agreed to the settlement <br />prior to the Closed Session, thus upon the City Council’s vote, the City has taken final <br />reportable action. Principal terms of the settlement are as follows: <br />• Mr. Stancil to vacate Docktown completely by March 28, 2025 <br />• City to pay Mr. Stancil a total of $226,000 for Docktown-related <br />compensation, $76,000 of which will go to his attorney <br />• Mutual releases on the part of both parties for all claims, including dismissal <br />of actions <br />• The settlement agreement approved this evening is a public record and <br />copies will be provided upon request once fully executed <br /> <br />6. ADJOURNMENT - Mayor Martínez Saballos adjourned the Closed Session at 6:59 p.m. to a <br />Special Joint Study Session with the Planning Commission at 7:00 p.m. on March 4, 2025. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
