She noted that Chaplain Logie <br />always reflects appropriately on what the Council and the community need most. Each <br />time he provides an invocation she finds that he brings a positive and inspirational <br />message. <br /> <br />6. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Public Comment: <br />Molly Spore-Alhadef spoke on behalf of the SEIU (Service Employees International Union) <br />members and she thanked the two Council Members exiting the Council for their years of <br />service, integrity, and for their willingness to listen and communicate. <br /> <br />MOTION: Waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, <br />adopt the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items. <br /> <br />Council Member Hartnett pulled agenda item 6.2. Mayor Foust read the other items on <br />the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />M/S Howard / Pierce to approve the items on the Consent Calendar except 6.2 item. <br />Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote with Council Member Ira abstaining <br />on 6.1.A due to his absence. <br /> <br />Council Member Hartnett read a statement about the election results. <br /> <br />M/S Howard/Hartnett to approve the Resolution.
