REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />One (1) shall be located at each front body corner and one (1) shall be located towards the <br />rearmost compartment corner on each side of the body. <br />SCENE LIGHT MODEL <br />Whelen Pioneer model #PFH2 series Super-LED top mount fixed pedestal flood lighting shall be <br />provided on the apparatus. <br />Each lamp head shall have two (2) 12-volt high intensity LED panels at 150 watts total. Each light <br />shall draw 13.0 amps and generate 23,000 lumens. Each lamp head shall be no more than 4.25 <br />inches in height by 14.00 inches in width. The lamp heads shall be powder coated white. <br />BODY SIDE SCENE LIGHT ACTIVATION <br />The scene lighting shall be activated with the chassis side scene lights. <br />HARRISON HYDRAULIC 10,000 WATT GENERATOR <br />The generator shall be one (1) Harrison Hydraulic Driven Generator rated at 10,000 watts, 84/42 <br />amps, 120/240VAC, 60Hz, 1-phase. <br />LINE VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />The specified line voltage power unit shall be installed with strict compliance with the current <br />NFPA Standard for Automotive Fire Apparatus, applicable regulations in effect as of the Effective <br />Date, and all associated components and equipment to be installed shall comply with the current <br />applicable standards in effect as of the Effective Date of the National Electrical Codes. Line <br />voltage electrical system equipment and materials used with the system shall all be listed, <br />properly installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, and only in the manner for <br />which they have been listed. <br /> <br />SYSTEM INSTALLATION AND WIRING <br /> <br />The generator system shall include proper grounding and bonding as required in NEC “Portable <br />and Vehicle Mounted Generators”. Non-grounded systems shall not be used. Only stranded or <br />copper conductors shall be used for grounding and bonding purposes. An operator instruction <br />plate, and generator rated performance specification plate, shall be permanently installed at the <br />circuit breaker control panel. <br /> <br />Wiring shall be properly installed from the circuit breaker panel to all specified 120/240 volt <br />accessories, including permanent circuit identification and rating specifications as applicable. <br />Wiring materials used for the specified accessories shall be either THHN type in non-metallic <br />liquid tight flexible conduit, or heavy duty SO copper cable. Either type shall be rated for 600 volts <br />at not less than 194 degrees Fahrenheit. <br /> <br />TESTING 110/220-VOLT & GENERATOR <br />The apparatus electrical and generator system shall be tested and certified in accordance with <br />the requirements of the current NFPA Standard for Automotive Fire Apparatus, applicable <br />regulations in effect as of the Effective Date. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.089/Fire Apparatus Solutions (Purchase of Spartan-LTC 105' TDA) (Page 110 of 150)
