REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />AIR INLET/ OUTLET FITTING TYPE <br />The air connector supplied shall be a 0.25 inch size Tru-Flate Interchange style manual <br />connection which is compatible with Milton âTâ style, Myers 0.25 inch Automotive style and Parker <br />0.25 inch 10 Series connectors. <br />TRACTOR DRAWN AIR BRAKE CONNECTION PACKAGE <br />Tractor shall include air brake connection package for a tiller. The tiller air brake connection shall <br />be accomplished via tractor connection points provided at the rear of the chassis. The <br />connections shall terminate at the rear cross member and shall be temporarily plugged for final <br />installation by the OEM. <br />AIR TANK SPACERS <br />The air tanks shall be moved 1.50 inches inward towards the center of the chassis from the <br />standard position when mounted in the frame rail. This shall provide clearance between the air <br />tanks and the frame for body U-bolt clearance. <br />REAR AIR TANK MOUNTING <br /> <br />If a combination of wheelbase, air tank quantity, or other requirements necessitate the location of <br />one or more air tanks to be mounted rear of the fuel tank, these tank(s) will be mounted <br />perpendicular to frame. <br />FIFTH WHEEL <br />The tractor frame shall include frame drillings for a City installed fifth wheel mounting plate. <br />FRONT RECEIVER HITCH <br />The chassis shall have a 15,000 pound Class V receiver hitch mounted below the front bumper <br />in the center. <br />WHEELBASE <br />The chassis wheelbase shall measure 154.00 inches. <br />REAR OVERHANG <br />The chassis rear overhang shall be 48.00 inches. <br />FRAME <br />The frame shall consist of double rails running parallel to each other with cross members forming <br />a ladder style frame. The frame rails shall be formed in the shape of a âCâ channel, with the outer <br />rail measuring 10.25 inches high X 3.50 inches deep upper and lower flanges X 0.38 inches thick <br />with an inner channel of 9.44 inches high X 3.13 inches deep and 0.38 inches thick. Each rail <br />shall be constructed of 110,000 psi minimum yield high strength low alloy steel.
