REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />GLASS SIDE MID RH <br />The cab shall include a window on the right side behind the front and ahead of the crew doors <br />which shall measure 16.00 inches wide X 12.00 inches high. This window shall be fixed within <br />this space and shall be rectangular in shape. The window shall be mounted using self-locking <br />window rubber. The glass utilized for this window shall include a green automotive tint unless <br />otherwise noted. <br />GLASS TINT SIDE MID RIGHT HAND <br /> <br />The window located on the right-hand side of the cab between the front and rear doors shall <br />include a dark gray automotive tint which shall allow forty-five percent (45%) light transmittance. <br />The dark tint shall aid in cab cooling and help protect passengers from radiant solar energy. <br />GLASS SIDE MID LH <br />The cab shall include a window on the left side behind the front door and ahead of the crew door <br />and above the wheel well which shall measure 16.00 inches wide X 12.00 inches high. This <br />window shall be fixed within this space and shall be rectangular in shape. The window shall be <br />mounted using self-locking window rubber. The glass utilized for this window shall include a green <br />automotive tint unless otherwise noted. <br />GLASS TINT SIDE MID LEFT HAND <br />The window located on the left-hand side of the cab between the front and rear doors shall include <br />a dark gray automotive tint which shall allow forty-five percent (45%) light transmittance. The dark <br />tint shall aid in cab cooling and help protect passengers from radiant solar energy. <br />CABIN AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM <br />An Active Air Purification system will be installed in the cab. The system utilizes RGF’s <br />Photohydroionization® Cell (PHI-Cell®) technology which produces hydro-peroxides and <br />hydroxide ions, reducing airborne mold, bacteria, viruses, and odors up to 99%. <br />The system shall include a stainless-steel housing approximately 7.50 inches high X 16.13 inches <br />wide X 6.6 inches deep in a trapezoid shape and shall be located at the upper portion of the rear <br />wall mounted in a horizontal orientation. The system shall be 12V DC and shall be active either <br />when the ignition power is on, or when the shoreline is connected. <br />CLIMATE CONTROL <br />A ceiling mounted combination defroster and cabin heating and air conditioning system shall be <br />located above the engine tunnel area. The system covers and plenums shall be of severe duty <br />design made of aluminum which shall be coated with a City specified interior paint. The design of <br />the system’s covers shall provide quick access to washable air intake filters as well as easy <br />access to other serviceable items. <br />The air delivery plenums provide targeted airflow directly to the vehicle occupants.
