REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />A rocker switch with a blank legend installed directly above shall be provided for any position <br />without a switch and legend designated by a specific option. The non-specified switch shall be a <br />two-position, black switch with a green indicator light. The blank switch legend can be custom <br />engraved by the body manufacturer. The switch legend shall have backlighting provided. <br />SEAT BELT WARNING <br />A Weldon seat belt warning system, integrated with the Vehicle Data Recorder system, shall be <br />installed for each seat within the cab. The system shall activate a digital seat position indicator <br />with a seat position legend and integrated audible alarm in the switch panel. <br />The warning system shall activate when any seat is occupied with a minimum of 60 pounds and <br />the corresponding seat belt remains unfastened. The warning system shall also activate when <br />any seat is occupied and the corresponding seat belt was fastened in an incorrect sequence. <br />Once activated, the visual indicators and applicable audible alarm shall remain active until all <br />occupied seats have the seat belts fastened. <br />SEAT MATERIAL <br />The seats shall be covered with a 45.00 ounce vinyl material. This material shall be semi- <br />resistant to UV rays and from being saturated or contaminated by fluids. <br />SEAT COLOR <br />All seats supplied with the chassis shall be black in color. All seats shall include red seat belts. <br />SEAT BACK LOGO <br />The seat back shall include the “Spartan” logo. The logo shall be centered on the standard <br />headrest of the seat back and on the left side of a split headrest. <br />SEAT DRIVER <br />The driver's seat shall be an H.O. Bostrom 500 Series Firefighter Sierra model seat with air <br />suspension. The four-way seat shall feature a 3.00 inches vertical travel air suspension and <br />manual fore and aft adjustment with 5.00 inches of travel. The suspension control shall be located <br />on the seat below the left front corner of the bottom cushion. The seat shall also feature integral <br />springs to isolate shock. <br />The seat shall feature an all belts to seat (ABTS) style of safety restraint. The ABTS feature shall <br />include a three-point shoulder harness with the lap belt and automatic retractor as an integral part <br />of the seat assembly. The buckle portion of the seat belt shall extend from the seat base towards <br />the driver position within easy reach of the occupant. The ABTS feature shall also include the <br />RiteHite™ shoulder adjustment feature to provide enhanced comfort and safety by allowing <br />customized seat belt fit. <br />This model of seat shall have successfully completed the static load tests set forth by FMVSS <br />207/210. This testing shall include a simultaneous forward load of 3000 pounds each on the lap <br />and shoulder belts and twenty (20) times the weight through the center of gravity. This model of <br />seat installed in the cab model, as specified, shall have successfully completed the dynamic sled <br />testing using FMVSS 208 as a guide with the following accommodations.
