REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />There shall be one (1) GTT (Global Traffic Technologies) Opticom model 795H traffic control <br />optical emitter mounted in the lightbar on the front of the cab roof. The emitter shall be activated <br />by a lighted rocker switch on dash and shall be deactivated when the parking brake is applied. <br />REAR WARNING LIGHTS <br />The cab shall be prewired for a Whelen TACTL5 Traffic Advisor control head to be installed by <br />the body builder. The prewire shall be coiled under the center dash panel. <br />Wiring provisions shall be provided routed to the rear of the frame for OEM installation of up to <br />eight (8) individual traffic advisor warning lights rated at no more than one (1) amp each. <br />The power to the control head shall be ignition switched and activation dependent upon the state <br />of the controllers switched position upon ignition. <br />SIREN CONTROL HEAD <br />A Federal PA4000-200 electronic siren control head shall be provided and flush mounted in the <br />in the switch panel with a location specific to the City’s needs. The siren shall feature 200-watt <br />output, the wail, radio broadcast, public address, yelp, priority tones and noise cancelling <br />microphone. The siren shall only be active when the warning light master switch is in the “on” <br />position. <br />STEERING WHEEL HORN BUTTON SELECTOR SWITCH <br />A rocker switch shall be installed in the switch panel between the driver and officer to allow control <br />of either the electric horn or the electronic siren from the steering wheel horn button. <br />AUDIBLE WARNING LH FOOT SWITCH <br />Two (2) foot actuated switches shall be supplied for installation in the front section of the cab for <br />driver actuation. One (1) switch shall be wired to actuate the air horn(s) and one (1) switch the <br />mechanical siren(s). <br />AIR HORN FOOT SWITCH LH <br />The air horn foot switch shall be a Linemaster model 491-S. <br />AIR HORN FOOT SWITCH LH LOCATION <br />The air horn foot switch shall be located on the left-hand side accessible to the driver between <br />the steering column and the door. <br />AIR HORN FOOT SWITCH LH POSITION <br />The air horn foot switch shall be positioned inboard of any other foot switch, if applicable. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.089/Fire Apparatus Solutions (Purchase of Spartan-LTC 105' TDA) (Page 76 of 150)
