ATTY/RESO.0057/CC RESO GREATER DOWNTOWN & SOUTHEAST RWC (PCA NOMINATION) <br />REV: 05-27-25 VR <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />WHEREAS, the designation of the Greater Downtown and Southeast Redwood <br />City PCA as a Priority Conservation Area does not alter existing land use designations, <br />zoning, the local jurisdiction’s land use authority, or property owner development rights. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That the City Council endorses the nomination of the Greater Downtown <br />and Southeast Redwood City PCA as a Priority Conservation Area to be adopted by the <br />Association of Bay Area Governments, recognizing its regional and local significance; and <br /> <br />2. That City staff are authorized to complete and submit the required PCA <br />nomination form and any supporting materials to MTC/ABAG; and <br /> <br />3. That the City Manager is authorized to take any other actions necessary to <br />give effect to this resolution; and <br /> <br />4. That the above actions are not a project under California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA Guidelines, section 15378, because they have <br />no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical <br />change in the environment. The proposed actions are administrative and do not authorize <br />any construction or other activities that would impact the environment; and <br /> <br />5.
