Project <br />activities focus on securing physical safety and helping victims transition away from dependent, abusive <br />relationships. <br />4 Project Name Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA) - Emergency Shelter Program <br />Target Area CityWide <br />Goals Supported Homeless Services <br />Needs Addressed Supporting Persons Experiencing Homelessness <br />Funding CDBG: $15,006 <br />Description CORA's Safe Houses provide victims and survivors of domestic violence and their children with safe and <br />confidential emergency shelter services. This project is eligible under 24 CFR 570.201 (e) the CDBG <br />regulations. <br />Target Date 6/30/2026 <br />Estimate the number <br />and type of families <br />that will benefit from <br />the proposed activities <br />The project will serve 11 individuals in 10 households. <br />Location Description Confidential address due to nature of activity (domestic violence shelter). <br />Planned Activities Funds will support CORA’s shelter staff, in addition to operational costs. The primary goal of Safe House <br />services is to help survivors with crisis intervention, attain safety and self-sufficiency, and heal from <br />trauma and abuse.
