City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org
Capital Projects Funds
The increase to revenue of $250,000 relates to the transfer in from General Fund for the Turf Replacement
Project. Increases to expenditures of $250,000 also relate to the Turf Replacement project.
Enterprise Funds
The increase to revenue of $300,000 relates to the transfer in from Special Revenues for the Transit-
Oriented Communities Grant work. Increases in expenditures of $300,000 also relate to Transit-Oriented
Communities Grant.
Internal Services Funds
Proposed expenditure increases total $865,803 and includes $800,803 for costs related to claims and legal
fees that were unbudgeted. $65,000 is attributed to account for projected increases in the cost of supplies
and services in the Information Technology Department.
FISCAL IMPACT
The net change in fund balance for each fund is shown in the Analysis Section of this report. Sufficient
resources are available within the fund balance/net position in the respective funds or will be made
available through grants or increased revenues that will be received this fiscal year to support these
recommended appropriation adjustments.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA
Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably
foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment.
PUBLIC NOTICE
Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72
hours prior to the meeting.
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council could elect not to approve any or all of these recommended year-end budget adjustments.
The impacts would vary depending upon the circumstances of each adjustment.
6.B. - Page 3 of 9
24
