The Jefferson Avenue Traffic Safety
Project is combined with a pavement overlay and ADA curb ramp improvement project. The total project
is estimated between $6-$7 million, with some General Fund and Capital Outlay Fund allocations for
pavement and ADA curb ramp improvements.
For the Page Street Bike Boulevard design phase, the $40,000 (11.47%) local match is proposed to be
funded by Measure A formula funds (Fund 262).
The proposed local matches are included in the FY 2025-26 Recommended Budget.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
Actions associated with adopting a resolution of support and accepting funding do not constitute a project
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act guidelines section 15378(b)(4). Future construction
of the projects will be categorically exempt from the requirements of CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines
Section 15301(c), Class 1 (“Existing Facilities”) for the repair and maintenance of existing highways and
streets with negligible or no expansion of an existing use.
6.D. - Page 3 of 9
37
