SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />Permit No: CP25-0091 Permitee: La Viga Culinary Inc. <br />permittee shall contact James O'Connell, Senior Civil Engineer, at joconnell@redwoodcity.org for City <br />notification purposes to the downtown community. <br />F.Contractor shall notify the Redwood City Police Department at (650)780-7100 and the Redwood CityFire Department at (650)780-7400 at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of any proposed temporary <br />street closure as shown on approved traffic control plans. <br />G.Contractor shall post No Parking signs at least 48 hours prior to the use of spaces. <br />H.Five business days before work, contractor shall notify City Inspector: Carlos Varela at (650) 780-7369 <br />or email him at cvarela@redwoodcity.org to schedule a pre-construction meeting. <br />I.Work installed without notification and pre-construction meeting may be rejected. <br />J.Working hours are limited to M-F 7:30 AM to 4 PM, excluding Redwood City observed holidays. <br />K.Permittee shall comply with all applicable City standard details available at the City's website <br />(www.redwoodcity.org) including but not limited to the following: all concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, and <br />driveway restoration works shall follow City standard details C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4, and C-5; and, all trenching <br />and backfilling shall follow City Standard detail UT-1 or UT-2. <br />L.Permittee shall conform to Construction Best Management Practices (BMP) as detailed in the Booklet <br />entitled "Blueprint for A Clean Bay" available at the City's website (www.redwoodcity.org). <br />M.Contractor shall be solely responsible for providing all protective and safety measures necessary. <br />N.Contractor shall provide for safe movement of vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic including <br />persons with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) through and around <br />construction operations. <br />0.Prior to construction, the contractor shall submit traffic control plans for the City's review and approval <br />for the safe movement of vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic conforming to the Manual on Uniform <br />Traffic Control Devices. The approved traffic control plans may be modified by the City Inspector based on <br />field conditions. <br />P.Contractor shall provide flaggers when deemed necessary by the City to ensure the smooth flow of <br />traffic. <br />Q.The Outdoor Activity area must remain clear of drive aisles and fire lanes necessary to provide <br />adequate vehicular circulation and access by public safety vehicles in the event of a fire, medical, or other <br />emergency. <br />R.All walkways and sidewalks shall maintain a five-foot clear path of travel. <br />S.Hours of operation for Outdoor Activity uses shall not exceed the normal hours of operation for the <br />corresponding business with which the outdoor use is associated, except no outdoor business activity shall <br />occur beyond 11 pm on weeknights, 12am on Saturday, and 1 0pm on Sunday. <br />T.Outdoor Activity areas shall be maintained free of trash and debris. <br />U.Any outdoor alcohol consumption shall be in compliance with the rules and regulations of the <br />Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and County Health Orders. <br />V.Applicant shall comply with all applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations, rules and orders, <br />including without limitation all environmental laws, and further including City Code Chapter 29 (Streets, <br />Sidewalks and Work in or Use of City Right of Way). <br />** For Inspection Call City Inspector, Carlos Varela at (650) 780-7369 ** <br />REV: 06-09-25 VR <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.139/La Viga Culinary Inc.
