Award of Contract - San Carlos Airport Levee Improvement Project. <br /> <br />Staff contact: Grace Le, P.E., Senior Civil Engineer 780-7258 gle@redwoodcity.org <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve the contract documents and award the contract for the <br />Redwood Shores Levee Improvement Project to Granite Rock Company DBA <br />Pavex Construction Division of San Jose for their responsive and responsible low <br />bid of $401,649 and authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount up <br />to 10010 if necessary, and reject the bid protests submitted on December 7, 2009 by <br />C.F. Archibald Paving Inc. and on December 8, 2009 by Andreini Bros. Inc. for the <br />reasons contained in this report. <br /> <br />E.
