ATTY/RESO.0069/CC RESO ADOPTING THE FIVE-YEAR CIP <br />REV: 06-16-25 MI <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO.16334 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR <br />THE PERIOD OF FISCAL YEAR 2025-26 THROUGH FISCAL YEAR <br />2029-30 <br />WHEREAS, a proposed Five-Year Capital Improvement Program (“CIP”) for <br />Fiscal Years (“FY”) 2025-26 through FY 2029-30 (hereinafter referred to as the <br />“Adopted CIP” and incorporated herein by reference) has been prepared by the City <br />Manager; and <br />WHEREAS, the Adopted CIP is on file with the City Clerk, and is available for <br />review upon request; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 6, 2025, the Planning Commission, having independently <br />heard, considered, and weighed all the evidence in the record, found that the proposed <br />Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 conforms to and is consistent <br />with the Redwood City General Plan, and applicable law; and <br />WHEREAS, after due deliberation and consideration, it is the intention of the <br />Council of Redwood City to adopt the Adopted CIP presently on file in the office of the <br />City Clerk. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council hereby finds that the facts set forth in the recitals <br />to this resolution are true and correct, and establish the factual basis for the City <br />Council’s adoption of this resolution. <br />SECTION 2. The Adopted CIP is hereby adopted. The adoption is for all five <br />years of the Adopted CIP presently on file in the office of the City Clerk. Upon adoption <br />of a future five-year CIP, this appropriation shall be superseded. <br />SECTION 3. Adoption of the Adopted CIP is exempt from California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) because it is not a “project” pursuant to Section <br />15378(b)(4) of the CEQA Guidelines. <br />SECTION 4. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption. <br />* * *
