By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 5 to the Agreement <br />for Services with Gilbane Building Company for project management services for the Veterans <br />Memorial Building/Senior Center for a not-to-exceed amount of $162,910, for a total not-to-exceed <br />amount of $4,807,148; and <br />2. By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 7 to the Agreement <br />for Services with ELS Architecture and Urban Design for construction administration services for a not- <br />to exceed amount of $118,792, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $9,930,028. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Healthy Community for All <br />BACKGROUND <br />The new Veterans Memorial Building/Senior Center (the Project) is a significant initiative aimed at serving <br />the City’s senior population and honoring veterans. ELS Architecture and Urban Design (ELS) was hired to <br />provide architectural design and oversight, while Gilbane Building Company (Gilbane) was hired to <br />manage construction of the Project. <br />6.J. - Page 1 of 17 <br />351
