Page 3 of 4 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />The Fire Marshal is listed as the point of contact with CAL FIRE and will be submitting the final adopted <br />ordinance and maps to CAL FIRE. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There may be minimal fiscal impacts associated with staff time to coordinate with CAL FIRE, review <br />the FHSZ maps, and facilitate the ordinance adoption process. Additional costs may arise if mitigation <br />efforts are required. This effort may require interdepartmental coordination between the Fire <br />Department, Community Development, Informational Technology Services, and City Clerk’s Office. <br />These tasks are anticipated to be completed within existing FY 2024–25 department budgets. <br />Currently, no additional fiscal impact to the adoption of the maps is foreseen. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1.
