8. STAFF REPORTS <br /> 8.A. City Council appointments to the Police Advisory <br /> Committee <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By roll call vote, appoint for the following: <br /> a. Four full-term seats (4 years) on the Police Advisory <br />Committee expiring May 31, 2029; <br /> b. Three full-term seats (3 years) on the Police Advisory <br />Committee expiring May 31, 2028; and <br />2. By motion, use the current applicant pool to fill any <br />additional vacancies on the Police Advisory Committee that <br />may occur between now and January 31, 2026, provided there <br />are at least two qualified applicants for each vacancy for City <br />Council consideration.
