___________________________________________________________________________________________ <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD/ JUNE 9, 2025 <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES PAGE 12 <br /> <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 69 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />10:59 p.m. Motion and second, Sturken and Eakin, to extend the meeting to 11:15 p.m., <br />passed 6-1 by electronic vote with Council Member Gee opposed. <br /> <br />Council discussed and provided feedback on the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Recommended <br />Budget, including direction to reduce the $4.85M in economic reserves by $2M to fund <br />pavement improvements, which received majority interest by Council Members Chu, <br />Sturken, Padilla and Vice Mayor Eakin. <br /> <br />Motion and second, Chu and Howard, to adopt a resolution setting June 23, 2025 as <br />the date for the public hearing on and adoption of the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Budget, <br />directing copies of the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Recommended Budget to be filed with the <br />City Clerk, and authorizing and directing the City Clerk to publish notice of the <br />availability of the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Recommended Budget and the date of the public <br />hearing, passed unanimously by electronic vote. <br /> <br />10.
