Adopt a resolution supporting the Long-Haul Community Vanpool Program and authorizing the <br />submission of an application to the San Mateo County Transportation Authority for 2025 Cycle 3 TDM <br />Program Funding; and <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to execute related grant documents. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Transportation <br />BACKGROUND <br />On June 5, 2025, the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) issued a call for projects for the <br />combined Cycle 3 for the Alternative Congestion Relief and Transportation Demand Management (TDM) <br />Program. Approximately $7.97 million is available for the two-year funding cycle for Fiscal Years 2025-26 <br />and 2026-2027. This program provides funding for: <br />Planning and design of intelligent transportation systems: $1.47 million <br />Planning, design, and implementation of TDM programs(competitive): $6.15 million <br />TDM policy: $352,000 <br />This program requires each grant recipient to adhere to the following requirements: <br />Submit a maximum of three applications with a total funding request up to $500,000. <br />Submit a governing board resolution in support of the project applications prior to the application <br />deadline on August 1, 2025. <br />6.B. - Page 1 of 7 <br />20
