The proposed water use charges <br />transition all customer classes to a uniform volumetric rate, eliminating tiered rates for single-family <br />customers. <br />The proposed service charges for residential and commercial customers are shown in Table 1 and Table <br />2 below. Residential customers are billed every other month, and the services charges are shown for a bi- <br />monthly billing period. Commercial customers are billed monthly and service charges are shown as such. <br />Water usage charges are billed for each one hundred cubic feet (HCF) of water that passes through the <br />water meter (One HCF = 748 gallons and is also referred to as a unit of water). The proposed water use <br />charges for all customer classes are shown in Table 3.
