ATTY/RESO.0074/CC RESO LONG-HAUL VANPOOL PROGRAM & AUTHORIZE SMCTA 2025 CYCLE TDM PROGRAM FUNDING <br />REV: 07-14-25 VR <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />WHEREAS, to receive grant funding, the TA requires a governing board resolution <br />from the Project Sponsor for the following items: <br /> <br />1. Supporting the Project and applications for $500,000 in TA Cycle 3 TDM <br />Program funds for the Project; and <br /> <br />2. Committing the Project Sponsor to the completion of the granted phase of the <br />Project, including the commitment of matching funds in the amount of $50,000 for the <br />Project; and <br /> <br />3. Certifying that any funds awarded by the TA will be used to supplement existing <br />funds for program activities, and will not replace existing funds or resources; and <br /> <br />4. Authorizing the City Manager of the Project Sponsor, or her designee, to <br />sign a funding agreement with the TA, if funds are awarded, for TA Cycle 3 TDM <br />Program funds for the Project and to take any other actions necessary to give <br />effect to the resolution. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Project Sponsor staff is directed to submit an application for TA Cycle 3 <br />TDM Program funds for $500,000 for the Project. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute a funding <br />agreement with the TA to encumber any Cycle 3 TDM Program funds awarded. <br /> <br />3. The Project Sponsor commits to the completion of the granted phases of <br />the Project, including the commitment of matching funds needed for implementing the <br />Project in the amount of $50,000, if awarded the requested TA funds for the Project. <br /> <br />4. The City Council certifies that any funds awarded by the TA will be used to <br />supplement existing funds for program activities and will not replace existing funds or <br />resources. <br /> <br />5. The City Manager is authorized to take any other actions necessary to give <br />effect to this resolution. <br /> <br />6. The resolution shall go into effect immediately. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />* * *
