Goal and Introduction <br />WDR REQUIREMENTS <br />Att. D-1 (pg. D-2) <br />“The goal of the Sewer System Management Plan (Plan) is to provide a plan and schedule to: (1) properly <br />manage, operate, and maintain all parts of the Enrollee’s sanitary sewer system(s), (2) reduce and <br />prevent spills, and (3) contain and mitigate spills that do occur. <br />The Plan must include a narrative Introduction section that discusses the following items:” <br />1.1. Regulatory Context <br />WDR REQUIREMENTS <br />Att. D-1.1 (pg. D-2) <br />“The Plan Introduction section must provide a general description of the local sewer system <br />management program and discuss Plan implementation and updates”. <br />COMPLIANCE <br />The City is committed to fully implementing the WDR which includes addressing all requirements by <br />integrating a wide range of programs specifically designed for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the <br />City’s sanitary sewer collection system. Moreover, the City is dedicated to maintaining its collection system <br />in a systematic manner by implementing various work programs, with a focus on critical areas, to prevent <br />spills, allowing for a comprehensive approach to maintenance. Work programs include CCTV inspections, <br />pipe cleaning, manhole inspections, lift station maintenance, root control, source control and pipe repair, <br />just to name a few.
