Immediately notify the Public Works Services Department of any sewer problem <br />encountered. Call (650) 780-7464. <br /> Spill <br /> Surcharging pipe <br /> Obstruction <br />2. Make attempts to contain the spill or prevent sewage from reaching surface water <br />or drainage system. <br /> Absorbent <br /> Dirt <br /> Sandbags <br />3. Cordon off the area to keep the public safe. <br /> Traffic cones <br /> Barricades <br /> Caution Tape <br />4. Provide photo/video documentation. <br /> Take Photo(s) of the spill appearance point <br /> Take 10 second video of the active spill (from approximately 10 feet away) <br /> Take photo of the affected area <br />5.
