REV:07-09-25 LF <br />P.A.C.E. Youth Advisory Board 2025 <br />Memorandum of Understanding <br />Parties: <br />- Redwood City Police Activities League, Inc. (commonly known as Pal Center) Lead: <br />Tito Alvarez, Youth Empowerment Specialist <br />- Redwood City Together - Lead: Ben Juarez-Garcia, Public Relations Specialist <br />Purpose: <br />This memorandum of understanding (“MOU”) describes a commitment by Redwood <br />City Together to implement a 12-month program to support the PACE Advisory Board <br />(PAB) Empowerment Program for Redwood City/North Fair Oaks youth. <br />Program Goal: <br />The goal of this partnership is to collaboratively empower youth to become confident <br />leaders and catalysts for positive community change. Through meaningful <br />experiences, workshops, and community engagement activities, participants will <br />develop leadership skills, deepen their understanding of civic and community needs, <br />and contribute to the betterment of Redwood City/North Fair Oaks. <br />Term: <br />The term of this MOU is for 12 months, from January 1, 2025, to December 30, 2025. <br />Meeting Structure: <br />●Meeting Frequency: Monthly meetings from January to December <br />●Duration: On a recurring date and time agreed upon by all parties meetings <br />will be approximately 2.5 hours per session. <br />●Hosting: Each organization (Pal Center, Redwood City Together, Siena Youth <br />Center, and Friends for Youth) will host 3 meeting sessions. <br />Program Review Structure: <br />Each organization will convene through monthly meetings throughout the program to <br />assess its effectiveness and determine potential enhancements to better support the <br />participating youth. <br />Scope of Work: <br />Each Organization in support of the PACE Advisory Board agrees to complete all <br />activities described below through the duration of program: <br />●Outreach and Recruitment: Conduct targeted outreach for 2 youth <br />participants total 8, ensuring a diverse and inclusive representation in the PAB <br />program. <br />●Program Implementation Support: Actively participate in program activities, <br />provide logistical support, supervise activities, and facilitating a supportive <br />environment during workshops and hands-on experiences as outlined in the <br />PAB Program Overview. <br />●Provide Meeting Space for Program Implementation: Provide a shared <br />space within the program partner agency's facilities, ensuring a conducive <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.167/Redwood City Police Activities League (PAB FY24-25) (Page 1 of 3)
