REV: 07-16-25 LF <br />Consultant will (1) prepare a timeline for City staff to submit data; and (2) revise (as <br />needed with approval from the Water Superintendent) the table under the Project <br />Schedule and Milestones section below that outlines the timeline for the preparation of <br />the UWMP. All project work must be completed in advance of the 1 July 2026 DWR <br />submittal deadline. <br />Task 1 Deliverables: <br />Project kick-off meeting, with agenda and meeting notes <br />Detailed data request <br />Task-based project schedule, updated as needed <br />Monthly invoices and task-based progress status reports <br />For Task 1 overall, <br />The kick-off meeting will not exceed one (1) hour in duration and will be held <br />virtually upon a mutually agreed upon schedule. <br />Task 2 - Prepare Water Supply and Demand Assessment <br />This task consists of collecting and reviewing pertinent information needed to prepare the <br />2025 UWMP and summarizing the key results for presentation to City staff in a working <br />review meeting. <br />Water System Description <br />Based on information provided or approved by the City, the characteristics of the Citys <br />water service area including the water system, average rainfall, average temperature, <br />demographics, water use sectors, and service area will be updated. <br />Current and Future Population Estimates <br />Consultant will rely on information provided by the City, the 2020 Census data, California <br />Department of Finance data, the Citys General Plan, information available from <br />BAWSCA Demand Study, and/or DWRs population tool to estimate the current and future <br />population. <br />Current and Future Water Demand Estimates <br />City will provide Consultant with complete water use records in total and by customer <br />sector between 2020 and 2025, as well as information related to distribution system <br />losses, based on validated annual reports. Consultant will compare the results to the <br />assumptions included in the BAWSCA Demand Study and alert the City of any <br />discrepancies. Based on the analysis of the water use data, appropriate water demand <br />factors will then be applied to projections of population and employment growth to <br />estimate future water demands. <br />The 2025 UWMP will describe how the demand projections incorporate land use <br />information, water savings from codes and standards, and climate change, as required <br />by California Water Code (CWC) §10631(a), §10631(d)(4)(A), and §10631(b)(1). Current <br />and future water demands will be presented by customer classes, including distribution <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.176/EKI Environment & Water, Inc.
