Adopt a resolution amending the 2021 Amended and Restated Water Supply Agreement Between <br />the City and County of San Francisco and Wholesale Customers in Alameda County, San Mateo <br />County, and Santa Clara County, approving those revisions to be incorporated into a 2025 <br />Amended and Restated Water Supply Agreement, and authorizing the City Manager to execute <br />such agreement when final execution copies are prepared and distributed by BAWSCA; and <br />2. Adopt a resolution approving the Tier 2 Drought Response Implementation Plan pursuant to <br />Section 3.11.C of the Amended and Restated Water Supply Agreement. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />Water Supply Agreement History <br />In June 2009, Redwood City entered into a Water Supply Agreement (WSA) with the City and County of <br />San Francisco (San Francisco) and Wholesale Customers in Alameda County, San Mateo County and Santa <br />Clara County (2009 WSA). The 2009 WSA establishes the terms by which the twenty-six Wholesale <br />Customers purchase water from the San Francisco Regional Water System (RWS).
