Coordinate for permit closeout, including final inspection confirmation, coordination <br />with City staff for closeout of financial accounts, and recording closeout <br />documentation within the City’s permitting software. <br />3. Inspection Assignments: <br />a. Upon direction by the City and in coordination with City staff, receive weekly work <br />locations from utility companies, coordinate with Senior Inspector for assignment <br />within the inspection team, and coordinate with assigned Inspector to confirm <br />completion of the work. <br />4. Pre-Permit Inspections: <br />a. Upon direction by City staff, conduct a pre-permit site visit to establish a limit of <br />work for sidewalk, driveway, curb and gutter restoration associated with the <br />proposed project. Provide a plan mark-up and pictures to the assigned City staff <br />for incorporation into plan check comments. <br />b. Establish the limit of work by utilizing knowledge and application of the City’s <br />Engineering Standards and design criteria, as well as ADA requirements. <br />5. Parklet/Sidewalk Café review: <br />a. Utilizing published City guidelines, review applications for parklets and sidewalk <br />café uses of the right of way. Confirm complete submittals, review submittals for <br />conformance with published standards, provide comments, communicate with <br />applicants for any necessary revisions, coordinate with City staff to set up permit <br />structure and take in associated fees, and coordinate permit approval prior to <br />returning the approved permit to the applicant. <br />6. Traffic Control Plan Review: <br />a. As assigned by the Senior Civil Engineer, review submitted traffic control plans for <br />consistency with MUTCD standards, accounting for vehicular, pedestrian, and <br />bicycle travel around and through the construction site, and accounting for site- <br />specific conditions. <br />b. Provide review within 2 business days of receipt from City staff. <br />7. As-Built Document Updates <br />a. Coordinate with applicants to obtain as-built documents for completed work. <br />b.
