REV: 06-11-25 LR <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />Permit Processing and review of documents for the engineering encroachment permits. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall provide as-needed the following services: <br />1. Utility permit review: <br />a. Review encroachment permit applications from utility companies including but not <br />limited to PG&E, AT&T, Cablecom/Comcast, Sonic, and Crown Castle. Review <br />submittal materials including improvement plans, traffic control plans, certificates <br />of insurance, and associated documents. <br />b. Utility permit reviews are to be completed and returned to the City within one week <br />of submittal for each round of review. Any comments on permit applications are to <br />be provided within a numbered comment letter, with references to Engineering <br />Standards, Municipal Code requirements, and/or other established review criteria <br />as appropriate. <br />c. Upon direction by the City, Consultant may be responsible for communicating <br />comments directly with the applicant. <br />2. Permit Tracking and Coordination: <br />a. Assist City staff in shepherding encroachment permit applications through the <br />review process, including setting up permit structure, working with staff to set up <br />financial structure, sending submittals to the assigned Engineer, routing <br />Engineering comments to applicants, and gathering finalized documents for permit <br />processing. <br />b. Upon direction by City staff, assemble permit packages and route to designated <br />City staff for approval. <br />c. Upon direction by City staff, notify applicants of permit approval and supply <br />associated documentation. <br />d.
