Waive the first reading and introduce an Ordinance (Attachment A) approving the Affordable Housing <br />Incentive Program, which would amend the requirements of the Affordable Housing Ordinance <br />(Affordable Housing Ordinance or AHO) through June 30, 2027; and <br />2. Adopt a resolution (Attachment B) suspending the Green Infrastructure Development Standards for <br />commercial remodels until such standards are required under the San Francisco Bay Area National <br />Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Municipal Regional Permit (MRP) in order to support the <br />activation of existing commercial space amid current financial market constraints. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Housing <br />Economic Vitality <br />Sustainability <br />BACKGROUND <br />On April 15, 2024, the City Council adopted the Two-Year Economic and Workforce Development Plan <br />(Plan) to guide the City’s economic development efforts through FY 2025–26.
