Page 3 of 7 <br />8.B.Grant application and project approvals for San Mateo County Transportation <br />Authority’s Measure A & W Highway Program, Jefferson Avenue Traffic Safety <br />Improvement Project <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution supporting the Jefferson Avenue Traffic Safety Improvement <br />Project and authorizing submittal of an application to the San Mateo County <br />Transportation Authority’s 2025 Measure A & Measure W Highway Program Call <br />for Projects and authorize the city manager or their designee to execute all grant <br />documents necessary to secure grant funds of $4 million. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />8.C.Agreement for Services with CPS HR Consulting for classification and <br />compensation services <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an Agreement for <br />Services with Cooperative Personnel Services dba CPS HR Consulting to provide <br />as-needed classification and compensation consulting services in an amount not <br />to exceed $405,000 for a three-year term, with an option to extend for one <br />additional two-year term in amount not to exceed $270,000 for a total contract <br />value of $675,000. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />8.D.Agreement for Services with Farallon Consulting, LLC to provide soil vapor <br />investigation and as-needed groundwater monitoring services <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an Agreement for <br />Services with Farallon Consulting, LLC to provide soil vapor investigation and as- <br />needed groundwater monitoring services in an amount not to exceed $442,780 <br />for the completion of services. <br />CEQA: <br />This cleanup of a contaminated site is exempt from the California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA) as defined under Section 15321 (Enforcement Actions by <br />Regulatory Agencies) because it is an action mandated by the RWQCB. <br />3
