While the City is accustomed to SDBL and concessions and waivers for eligible projects, this <br />is the largest height waiver request received. In Redwood City, past requested waivers have been closer <br />to two-three stories above the maximum, and all have been associated with projects that provide <br />affordable housing. The proposal would make this building one of the tallest in the peninsula. The <br />maximum height currently allowed in Redwood City is 136 feet (12 stories) within the downtown area in <br />the blocks surrounding courthouse square and the Transit Center (Caltrain station). <br />12.A. - Page 11 of 15 <br />315
