10. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 10.A. Interim measures to support housing production and <br />activation of commercial space amid financial market <br />constraints: Incentive Program for All-Residential <br />Developments and Suspend Green Infrastructure <br />Development Standards for Commercial Remodels <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Waive the first reading and introduce an Ordinance (Attachment A) <br />approving the Affordable Housing Incentive Program, which would <br />amend the requirements of the Affordable Housing Ordinance <br />(Affordable Housing Ordinance or AHO) through June 30, 2027; and <br />2. Adopt a resolution (Attachment B) suspending the Green <br />Infrastructure Development Standards for commercial remodels until <br />such standards are required under the San Francisco Bay Area <br />National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Municipal Regional <br />Permit (MRP) in order to support the activation of existing <br />commercial space amid current financial market constraints.
