REV: 08-25-25 VR <br />cost and expense, insurance coverage acceptable to City to protect City and YMCA-SV from <br />damages and losses that may arise from such preliminary work, as follows. <br />(a) Minimum Insurance. YMCA-SV shall procure and maintain the following <br />insurance: <br />(i) Commercial General Liability insurance with coverage at least as <br />broad as Insurance Services Office (ISO) form CG 00 01, or its equivalent, with <br />limits not less than $2 million per occurrence, $4 million general aggregate, and $2 <br />million products and completed operations aggregate for bodily injury, personal <br />injury, and property damage, including without limitation, blanket contractual <br />liability and coverage for explosion, collapse and underground property damage <br />hazards. The general aggregate limit shall apply separately to this project/location <br />or be doubled. Such insurance shall allow and be endorsed primary and any <br />insurance or self-insurance maintained by City shall not contribute to any claim <br />thereunder. Such insurance shall be endorsed to designate City, its elected and <br />appointed officials, employees, agents, and volunteers as additional insureds using <br />ISO form CG 20 10 or CG 20 26 (or equivalent) for ongoing operations and ISO <br />form CG 20 37 (or equivalent) providing completed operations to the additional <br />insured. Coverage shall provide and be endorsed to include a waiver of subrogation <br />in favor of the City and its elected and appointed officials, employees, agents, and <br />volunteers. <br />(ii) Business automobile liability insurance with limits not less than $2 <br />million each accident. Such insurance shall include coverage for owned, non- <br />owned, and hired automobiles. <br />(iii) Workers’ compensation insurance as required by California law and <br />Employer’s Liability insurance with limits not less than $1 million each accident or <br />disease for bodily injury or disease. The workers’ compensation insurance shall <br />contain an endorsement stating the insurer waives any right of subrogation against <br />City, its elected and appointed officials, employees and volunteers. <br />(iv) Contractor’s Pollution Liability or Pollution Liability insurance <br />coverage shall be provided for liability arising out of sudden, accidental and gradual <br />pollution and remediation. The policy limit shall be no less than $1,000,000 per <br />claim. All activities contemplated in this agreement shall be specifically scheduled <br />on the policy as “covered operations.” The policy shall provide coverage for the <br />hauling of waste from the project site to the final disposal location, including non- <br />owned disposal sites. The policy shall provide and be endorsed to include the City, <br />its elected and appointed officials, employees, agents, and volunteers as insureds. <br />(b) Special Provisions Applicable to All Coverages. <br />(i)The policy must provide City 30 days’ notice of cancellation.
