REV: 03-05-24 MI <br />Participating in closed sessions as needed to provide guidance to and receive <br />direction from Council; <br />Assisting in preparing and developing staff reports and presentation materials. <br />4. If needed, representing the City at impasse proceedings, including preparation and <br />representation through the impasse process, assisting with preparation of press releases, <br />meeting with elected officials, and making those appearances provided for by the City <br />employee relations ordinance, as requested by the City. <br />5. Assist in the preparation of benefit and salary surveys for bargaining groups. <br />Timeline: <br />For year one of the contract, the Consultant will adhere to the following timeline for labor <br />negotiations, with the goal of completing labor negotiations prior to the respective <br />Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) expiration date.
