By motion, authorize the City Manager, or their designee, to increase the <br />contract amount, if necessary, up to 10 percent above the contract amount, for <br />a not-to-exceed total in the amount of $223,754. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />7.C.Award of contracts for on-call, as needed professional engineering services with <br />ENGEO Incorporated, Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences <br />Consultants, Smith-Emery of San Francisco Inc., Kier & Wright Civil Engineers <br />and Surveyors Inc., BKF Engineers, and Alexander & Associates Inc. to support <br />capital projects requiring specialized expertise <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, award the standard form contracts to provide on-call, as needed, <br />professional services and approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the <br />following agreements: <br />1. Agreement for Services with ENGEO Incorporated for on-call geotechnical <br />investigation, special inspection and material testing professional services in an <br />amount not to exceed $200,000 over a 3-year period, with the option to extend <br />for two additional one-year periods in an amount not to exceed $100,000 per <br />extension term through 2030; <br />2. Agreement for Services with Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental <br />Sciences Consultants for on-call geotechnical investigation, special inspection <br />and material testing professional services in an amount not to exceed $200,000 <br />over a 3-year period, with the option to extend for two additional one-year <br />periods in an amount not to exceed $100,000 per extension term through 2030; <br />3. Agreement for Services with Smith-Emery of San Francisco Inc. for on-call <br />geotechnical investigation, special inspection and material testing professional <br />services in an amount not to exceed $200,000 over a 3-year period, with the <br />option to extend for two additional one-year periods in an amount not to exceed <br />$100,000 per extension term through 2030; <br />4. Agreement for Services with Kier & Wright Civil Engineers and Surveyors Inc. <br />for on-call land surveyor professional services in an amount not to exceed <br />$200,000 over a 3-year period, with the option to extend for two additional one- <br />year periods in an amount not to exceed $100,000 per extension term through <br />2030; <br />5. Agreement for Services with BKF Engineers for on-call land surveyor <br />professional services in an amount not to exceed $200,000 over a 3-year period, <br />with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods in an amount not <br />to exceed $100,000 per extension term through 2030; and <br />6. Agreement for Services with Alexander & Associates Inc. for on-call land <br />surveyor professional services in an amount not to exceed $200,000 over a 3-year <br />3
