Housing and Human Concerns Committee <br />Priority List <br />The HHCC has identified the following priorities to focus on during 2025-2027: <br />1. <br />Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Human Services Financial Assistance (HSFA) Funding Recommendations <br />Activities: <br />Make CDBG and HSFA funding recommendations <br />Restart site visits of funded agencies as part of program audits <br />2. <br />Human Services Financial Assistance (HSFA) Program Assessment <br />Activities: <br />An ad hoc subcommittee would be created to assess the current HSFA application and evaluation criteria, taking into <br />consideration any changes proposed by the City Council <br />The ad hoc subcommittee would prepare recommendations <br />3. <br />Monitor the Anti-Camping Ordinance <br />Activities: <br />Form an ad hoc subcommittee and produce report after first year. Consider establishing a standing homelessness <br />subcommittee after the first year. <br />Designate a member of the ad hoc subcommittee to attend City Council Subcommittee on Homelessness meetings and brief <br />the HHCC on data presented to this subcommittee. <br />4. <br />Affordable Housing Production <br />Activities: <br />An ad hoc subcommittee would be created to move forward an affordable housing test case at a faith-based institution or <br />other site with surplus land <br />A member of the ad hoc subcommittee will be assigned to help monitor changes to the Affordable Housing Ordinance <br />5. <br />Monitoring of the Anti-Displacement Strategy (ADS) implementation and affordable housing vacancy rates <br />Activities: <br />Receive regular updates on the implementation of the ADS and affordable housing vacancy rates in Redwood City. <br />Provide feedback, as needed. <br />6.Contribute to the Greater Downtown Area Plan (GDAP) <br />Activities: <br />Receive a presentation on the GDAP and provide feedback to staff <br />8.A. - Page 12 of 13 <br />305
