By motion, approve Tentative Side Letter Agreements relative to 2026 dental insurance for <br />employees represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 521, Redwood <br />City Management Employees Association (RCMEA), Redwood City Police Officers Association <br />(POA), Redwood City Police Supervisors Association (PSA), International Association of Fire <br />Fighters (IAFF) Local 2400, and the Chief Officers Association (COA); and <br />2. Adopt a resolution amending the 2026 dental insurance plans as provided in the Summaries of <br />Compensation and Terms of Employment for Unrepresented Executive Management and <br />Confidential Employees. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />Due to the dynamic nature of providing services to the community and as service needs and City <br />operations evolve over time, City staff review the organization to recommend changes in support of the <br />City’s Strategic Plan and to improve operating efficiency and service delivery. <br />The City Council has adopted a strategic initiative related to government operations, and one of the goals <br />of that initiative is: <br />10.A. - Page 1 of 19 <br />365
