REV: 09-22-25 LF <br />“ ”EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Scope of Services <br />Consultant shall provide as-needed, on-call land surveyor professional services for <br />various City projects, including construction, legal documentation and property <br />management. <br />Upon written request through issuance of Task Order from the City Engineer or a Senior <br />Civil Engineer, the Consultant shall provide the following types of services: <br />A. Assist the City in obtaining all permits required to comply with applicable Federal, <br />State, and Local environmental laws and regulations. <br />B. Provide land surveying services as generally described, but not limited to, as <br />follows: <br />a. Aerial Mapping and Photogrammetry, ALTA Survey, As-Built Surveys, <br />Boundary Surveys, Construction Staking, Map Reviews (including but not <br />limited to signing on Parcel Maps and Final Maps as City Surveyor), Final <br />Mapping, Flood Certifications, Global Positioning System (GPS) Surveys, <br />LAFCO Mapping/Descriptions, Leveling Surveys, Lot Line Adjustments/Lot <br />Mergers, Certificate of Compliance, Pothole of existing Utilities, Preparation <br />of Plats and Legal Descriptions, Processing with County Recorder’s Office, <br />Provision of Title Reports, Record of Surveying Mapping/Corner Records, <br />Research of Existing Utilities Information or Base Maps, Right-of-Way <br />Appraisal Mapping, Topographic Design Surveys <br />C. Respond to City Staff on surveying related questions, training City Staff on <br />surveying topics. <br />D. Prepare Base Maps as directed by the City. <br />a. Perform topographic surveys in locations as determined by the City. Each <br />ground survey shall include all physical features within the project limit and <br />project scope listed below. Include any grade breaks or man-made <br />improvements not listed: <br />i. Sanitary sewer manhole rim elevations, pipe elevations, pipe inverts <br />at manholes, pipe diameters, sanitary sewer lateral cleanouts and <br />sanitary sewer lines. Locate and determine exact locations of <br />existing sanitary sewer lateral cleanouts as much as possible. <br />ii. Storm drain or sanitary sewer manhole rim elevations, pipe inverts <br />at manhole, pipe diameters, drain inlets bottom, drain inlets pipe <br />inverts, catch basin grate elevations and storm drain lines. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.212/Alexander & Associates Inc.
