ATTY/RESO.0099/CC RESO ACCEPTING THE ANNUAL REPORT FROM THE REDWOOD CITY IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION <br />REV: 10-07-25 MI <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16358 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY ACCEPTING THE REDWOOD CITY IMPROVEMENT <br />ASSOCIATION (RCIA) ANNUAL REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023- <br />2024 AND AUTHORIZING THE REDWOOD CITY IMPROVEMENT <br />ASSOCIATION TO IMPLEMENT THE SERVICES IDENTIFIED IN THE <br />MANAGEMENT DISTRICT PLAN <br />WHEREAS, on August 25, 2014, the City Council adopted Ordnance No. 2408 <br />approving the creation of the Downtown Redwood City Community Benefit Improvement <br />District of 2014 District pursuant to the Redwood City Community Benefit Improvement <br />District Procedural Ordinance Redwood City Municipal Code Chapter 31; and <br />WHEREAS, the Management District Plan for the District describe and set forth <br />the sidewalk operations and beautification, District identity and signage, and parking <br />management service and improvements to be provided to properties within the District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City entered into and has renewed its agreement with RCIA to act <br />as the owners association for the District and to administer and implement the District <br />Plan Services specified in the District Plan including but not limited to annually creating a <br />District budget and policies to comply with the District Plan preparing and filling annual <br />reports with the City reflecting compliance with the District Plan and overseeing the day <br />to day administration operations and implementation of the District Plan Services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is required to review and approve the annual report and <br />disburse the collected assessments to RCIA in accordance with the Management and <br />Disbursement Agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.Accept the annual report for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 provided on this day by <br />the Redwood City Improvement Association. <br />2.Authorize the organization to proceed under the Agreement to implement <br />the services identified in the Management District Plan. <br />* * *
